North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) is a Mini Ratna Government owned undertaking, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited. The candidates who aspire to apply for NEEPCO executive recruitment via a Sarkari Exam must keep in mind that the recruitment procedure differs based on the notification and position. GATE based recruitment for Executive Trainees is distinct from other Professional Executives recruitment.

NEEPCO Executive Trainee Recruitment Through GATE

NEEPCO has advertised for 25 Executive Trainees in three streams- Electrical/Mechanical, Civil and Geology. The online application process took place from 14 May to 3 June 2026, and has been concluded.

Short listed applicants will be invited to attend Personal Interview as per qualified GATE score secured in the year 2026. The notification does not prescribe the provision of a separate written test. The minimum educational qualification was the completion of full-time BE/B.Tech program with good aggregate 65% marks or SC/ST/PwBD 55% marks.

The Executive Trainee is a member of Grade E-2 of the Pay Band ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000. If you are preparing for the upcoming recruitment then the prime focus should be on GATE.

NEEPCO Executive Recruitment Through Advertisement No. 02/2026

NEEPCO Advt. 02/2026 has 38 openings for executives in different fields like engineering, finance, ERP, medical, legal, safety, CSR and communication. Application can be done between 23rd June to 13th July 2026.

In contrast to the GATE based Executive Trainee, the examination format is not the same for all posts in this advertisement. The examination will vary according to the post and its requirements as mentioned in the notification. An objective type test or computer-based test may be taken, if necessary.

Therefore, applicants must refer to the eligibility criteria, selection criteria and exam pattern regarding the post in the NEEPCO website. There cannot be a general syllabus for all posts of executives.
